I downloaded a “print this blog” plugin and OMG, I got 400 pages in small print only for the public posts. The private posts are where the party is at, so I printed them out separately. This alone means that the time has come for me to clean up after myself. The internet is linked to electricity and energy which are linked to the environment and our limited resources. Cleaning up the internet is the most environmental friendly thing each of us can do for the world. From now on, if I decide to set up another blog, I will make sure to delete everything I post in max two weeks time. Nothing deserves to stay online forever. I will also favour platforms that allow me to set expiry dates for my content like Snap does.
In fact, I am surprised by own productivity and I haven’t even touched on most subjects that matter to me, simply because things happen faster than anyone can keep up with and reality is no longer what we thought it is. I believe that the time has come for the collective as opposed to corporations to reshape everything, from authorship to music to copyright, therefore it is also a time to give a voice to non-experts, because I strongly feel that they will be the ones to guide us forward.
Experts have failed us, and even copyright is no longer enforceable in any meaningful way. It is pointless to continue to pretend that a bill written on a piece of paper will protect us as humans, laws only protect corporations as it is. I don’t know exactly where we are headed, but I see an increasingly decentralized era in which corporations will lose their power to a collective pushback. And no Blue Sky is not decentralized. It is the most boring Twitter copycat that has ever been created. The gaslighting no longer works.
We have learned that platform algorithms do not act in our best interest, but are only here to stop us from connecting and organizing in a meaningful way. Bots are here to fool us that we have a community, while we are being collectively silenced. What else, online stats are a total fraud, music labels desperate to please the algorithms have degraded the quality of music to its most automatable parts and recognizable patterns, thus paving the way for AI to eventually make the music industry totally irrelevant.
We’ve noticed that every time something works for humans, it gets taken away. Algorithms want to categorize and control our emotions and psyche, and this push for senseless control is paradoxically what is ushering the demise of capitalism. Just like the music industry is in total shambles right now, this push for more control will be the undoing of corporate control over human beings.
I have no idea how it is going to play out, or maybe I do but don’t feel like sharing. And if you look deep inside, you will see that you also know that it’s game over for capitalism.
This means that I no longer need to express anything here. I am shifting as we speak. My opinion, my psyche, my collective, our consensus. There is no government or power that can control us if we don’t want to be controlled.
Do not comply!
